At other times, someone may have hurt us. It could have been inadvertently or it could have been on purpose. Either way, hurting, we find it hard to pray for them, let alone pray blessings over them.
What if you don't have to say a prayer for them?
What if you could sing over them instead?
Sing? Yes, Sing!
Sing God's heart over them. God after all is good and loving to all. God is mighty to save and the God of the impossible. God is also singing over you. Heaven is singing over you.
For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."
Zephaniah 3:17
All this went through my mind as I listened to THERE IS ALWAYS A SONG on the Compassionart album. I've heard it many times before, but yesterday I really listened.
Please read through the lyrics below, and if you can, watch the youtube video link given below it.
Blessings!
Karin
There is always a song
I don’t know how to breathe
I don’t know how to leave you
I don’t know what to say
And who am I to say it anyway
But there is always a song
And I’ll try to sing along over you
I can hear it being sung
All of heaven sings along over you
I hardly know your name
I didn’t come to save you
Your smile just broke my heart
Now in my heart I know you’ll never leave me.
Sing, sing like you’ve never sung
Sing for your joy to come
Sing, sing like you’ve never sung
Sing of our joy to come
